At the October 2012 Annual Meeting of the Licensing Executives Society (USA and Canada), Susan B. Levy of Susan B. Levy Consulting, LLC presented a Mini-Plenary program on “Convergence in Consumer Products: Bringing Innovative New Products to Market”. Her theme was that the “issues of convergence” are creating an ever-greater need for strong, global brand equities. Brand equities are being extended beyond their traditional “comfort zone” into new channels and with new customers so that they have the potential to endure in an increasingly converging marketplace.
