This encore presentation, originally presented at the LES 2016 Annual Meeting will identify and discuss the top 10 court decisions during the past year affecting licensing. Mr. Levine, a past - President of LES USA & Canada, will discuss the implications of these decisions on the drafting and negotiating of license agreements. 

This presentation will focus on: 

• Cases that impact the way we negotiate and draft patent license agreements
• How we initiate patent license negotiations

Cases addressing damages calculations, and/or expert theories/testimony, in patent litigation are not covered in this webinar.

Note regarding CLE: LES is re-evaluating its policy and procedure as it relates to CLE credits with the intent of increasing what is offered and simplifying the process.  As that effort continues, LES will not be seeking CLE approval for this particular webinar course, but we will return to that practice shortly.
