Bill Elkington will present an overview of the LES Standards Program, which in its first year will be focused on the efforts of three pilot standards committees.  Leaders on each of these committees will then review the proposed scope of work and objectives of each committee.  Paul Greco--from ICAP Patent Brokerage--will review the planned work of the "IP Brokerage Stadnards Committee."  Craig Moss--from Create.org--will review the planned work of the "IP Protection in the Supply Chain Standards Committee."  And Paul Roberts--from InventErgy--will review the planned work of the "Patent Licensing Entity Standards Committee."  The objective of LES Standards is to provide business process standards that will:  (1) raise the standards of business conduct in IP-oriented transactions; (2) improve the practice of IP management; (3) reduce the cost and time required to do IP-oriented transactions and IP management; an (4) protect and preserve the value of IP for innovative individuals and enterprises.
